Thumper

The thumper is awesome. I didn't have my headphones on me one day at work and used it while working inside a loud metal shop for part of the day with ear pro in. It did surprisingly well and lasted all day on less than half charge. My only gripe is the magnet. I like it and use it somewhat frequently however working in a metal shop it has collected dust and shavings. I would like a way to fully remove the magnet from the speaker

I didn’t know what to really expect out of it, but the Thumper packs quite a punch for its size.

I lost my Noxgear recently and began looking for a replacement. This speaker is a similar size and design as the Noxgear. It even has the clip and magnet. But that’s where the similarities end. They swap a headphone jack for a light. Not an even swap of useful features. But the real kicker is it can only produce maybe 70-80% of the Noxgear volume and at max volume it’s atrocious quality. What this means is both as a hands free cell phone device at highway speeds and outdoor use, it’s neither loud enough, nor clear enough. For only about $10 less, it’s barely half the usefulness and quality. Save your money. Get the Noxgear or similar. This is barely as good as the knockoff $20 speaker. This would be a great $25 speaker. It just costs $60.

Headphones don't stay put. When on a phonecall, the mic is super sensitive and picks up all background noises. Earbuds don't want to stay in your ear when moving around. The only compliment wouod be the thumper speaker they sent with the headphones.
