These are my second pair of Elgin Rebel headphones. I have had quite a few kinds of earbuds. These block the most sound and have the best quality of sound.
Great ear buds with good sound deadening. I was disappointed when 1 started to fail, but support was quick to respond and replace them.
Wireless beautiful piece of art

I wanted some new ear protection and liked the idea of safety rated sound cancellation and music. I ordered Elgin Rebels a couple months ago. Upon using these earbuds, I initially noticed the fit wasn’t quite right, and that I liked their sound. After trying a few different sized fittings I found a satisfactory fit. With the shape of the earbuds themselves, though, it doesn’t seem like it wants to stay put in the ear, most of the mass of the bud is just floating, only secured by the plug. I don’t know what exactly it was, but they keep falling out. The sound quality was good. As a compliment to my red 3m muffs, which I still use for the heavy noise, they’re great. Except for falling out of my ears multiple times a day.
As for the case, I initially liked the sealed cap, keeping out all that pesky rock dust. Also I’ve loved having an extra flashlight around with the one built into the case, nice. I haven’t had any issues with the case other than the charging pegs. The first issue was the little pop of the case closing dislodging the buds from the small, delicate, spring loaded metal pegs. Also, when in the case, the buds become dislodged from the charging connections pretty easily and often. Earlier this week, one of the buds would no longer connect to the case. When I looked closer, I saw a tiny spring where there used to be a charging connection. So it appears that a design flaw ultimately led to one of my earbuds, and therefore the sound cancellation, ineffective. I’m going to follow up and try to get a replacement, or better yet, a different product. I’m hopeful they will help me out, but as for my experience with this product? For $200? I was disappointed.
