Kinda hard to keepnin my ears. Any advise? Also they kinda stick out so muxh that my welding hood hits them in their precarious perch
I only recently learned that Airpods were not in fact protecting my ears from power tools so I sought out a company that makes them and found Elgin highly recommended. I ordered a pair of their Rebels and they are amazing. The variety of tips is a huge plus and they are very comfortable for when I working in the studio/shop.
It’s perfect company and product
Thank you
I need a set of earbuds that would work for the farm, the gun range, and for my daily motorcycle commute. My bike is obnoxiously loud (as in, commuting with the new Airpods in active noise cancellation mode literally blew out the microphones), so I ended up purchasing a set of Rebels. The noise cancellation is amazing with the new tips. The sound is great for me, at least as good as any competing earbuds that I've tried. They're extremely comfortable in my ears with the large large Fusion tips.
Two things that keep them from being perfect:
- the hinge on the charging case is way too flimsy for something that's supposed to be used by normal humans. It's already broken.
- the silicone ear hook wrap thing is a stupid idea. There's no way to keep that functional over time, or in any kind of environment with moisture. They slip immediately and expose the sharp edges of the channel to the inside of my ears. This weekend I'm going to fill that channel in with Sugru and see if that's a more permanent solution
TL;DR
They're the best earbuds for what I personally value in earbuds, with obvious drawbacks. If you can live with those issues (or solve them somehow), I'd be comfortable saying that there is nothing else on the market as good as these.
I'm super happy with my headphones and not to mention the extra sweet flashlight when I'm at concerts is a mega Plus
