The only thing I dont like about these is that they dont have the ambient pass through (i dont know what it's actually called) that allows you to still hear what's going on around you when it is quiet. The things I do like about them though are that they have never died on me during the day and the case can recharge them several times. Ive never actually had the case battery die either as I tend to charge it at least once per week. So battery life is a win which seems to be the case with all of elgins stuff. I am a huge fan of the elgin discord because I like having my ear protection always close by but I have found that I actually prefer the rebels because when I have a respirator, goggles and headphones in the discord would inevitably get tangled up in one or all of them. Ive knocked a rebel bud out of my ear a few times with the strap to mg goggles but it seems like I have to take them out less frequently than I would have the discords ripped from my ears unexpectedly. I'm still a huge fan of the discords though. With that being said, I love the audio quality on all of them. Ive never had a problem with the rebels pairing and they pair quickly and I've never had one unexpectedly fall out of my ears. I have knocked one out with the strap to my goggles or my respirator before but I haven't had one just fall out on its own. Overall, I'm a huge fan of elgin. Their products work well. I even have a pair of the least expensive headphones they make and I think those are good too although the audio doesnt sound quite as good as the higher cost ones. Its been a while since ive used my discord headphones but I think the rebels sound better or at least have more bass. There's a certain spot where you know you have them situated perfectly in your ear because you cant hear anything but the music and it feels like you are standing inside the house with the nice surround sound speakers playing. I absolutely recommend them for anyone who works in a loud environment or if you just want good noise canceling headphones. I mostly wear them when I am working in my woodshop.
I love the sound quality but the foam plugs are all a bit tight so I use the silicone and the left earbud regularly disconnects and has a small sound delay with my iphone.
