Maverick

As an industrial air compressor mechanic, I have had good experience in the past with Elgin’s hearing protection as well as a warranty claim that was honored. So I decided to try out the maverick flashlight as well. The light worked great with good battery life and plenty of light for inspection and work on the equipment I work on. I had a very minor complaint that the magnetic charger stopped working, but having other rechargeable batteries, I have a good protected smart charger that I used to recharge the battery. My major complaint now is a few nights ago at a job after dark, I was using the flashlight in a poorly lit compressor room when I accidentally bumped it off a steel support brace where it was magnetized to. Fell ftom about 7ft onto the bezel and it instantly died. A small ding is visible on the bezel and nothing else is visibly damaged. A warranty claim has been denied, so I’m out $60. So be it. I would expect a flashlight advertised as “drop-tested” and “impact resistant to last in the toughest environments” in the description should be able to handle that fall as most of the previous lights I’ve used including cheap Amazon lights have stood up to far more abuse. I could recommend this light for very light use and maybe as an emergency light to get you to a much better light, but other than that, get a better quality light that actually is impact resistant if it’s for industrial use.

I was attracted to your product due to one thing, and that one thing was your use of the American flag on your website. Being a Vet, that is very important to me but to my dismay I found the words “PRC” on the packaging. Maybe you love American as much as I but I’m guessing you all love more money more than patriotism. Nothing wrong with making money but you really should fly “PRC” flag outside your headquarters and on your website.

So far, so good. It's bright! Easy to hold. Convenient wall charger is awesome!

Very bright light that last quite a while. With the docking charging station it stays charged when I need it.

As a real estate agent I am often I’m locations with no electricity. Bering able to have a flashlight that charges in my car is clutch? I highly recommend this product!
