Really good just minor fixes

Great sound and battery life, but the design of the case isn’t the best. Most of the time when closing the lid the earbuds aren’t lined up which puts pressure on the charging pins in a diagonal direction that can break the charging pin. Possibly the lid insert to help the earbuds line up isn’t made with more room on the diameter of the cut out for the top of the earbud to fit into. Other than that awesome product.

Good sound quality but some annoyances

I’ve had the Rebel earbuds for over 6 months now and feel like it’s given me some time to find the quirks in them. To start with, the sounds quality is good and talking on the phone with them connected is clear on both ends of the conversation. When using the safety earplugs they do block out a lot of noise, especially when using a grinder or chainsaw.

Now for the annoyances. The fact they can connect separately makes for a very tedious experience when trying to use both earbuds at the same time. Often times I have to put the unconnected earbud back into the case for it to connect properly. When placing the earbuds into the case they have a hard time connecting to charge completely (even if I take off the plugs). Any small knock to the case will disconnect them from their charge and will reconnect to my phone. The lid has a hard time closing fully with the earbuds in place and often times will disconnect them from their charge leading to them not fully charging when not in use. This also leads them to reconnect to my phone or just power on then turn off when they can’t connect to something and not charge. The flashlight is a decent idea on the case but honestly can do with out it.

These are decent earbuds and I do like having something that is also safety rated, but they do have their annoyances and hope they are things Elgin can improve upon.
