These are the worst headphone I have ever used. They are a pain to get connected to the charging pins in the case, about 75% of the time when putting in the case they don’t charge. They are huge and don’t fit my ears well (never been an issue with other earbuds) the foam tips are very uncomfortable (I’m used to earring earplugs 12 hours a day) they disconnect and reconnect constantly from my device. The little rubber size bands aren’t even made correctly. There’s a little oval notch on the plastic of the earbud that’s supposed to line up with the same oval cutout on the rubber bands. Well when you line that up it doesn’t fit quite right and the earbuds don’t fit at all in the case. There’s band needs to be rotated 90 degrees to fit the case. Pretty low quality all around and I’m blown away these are even a finished product. Also apparently for the warranty (for a return) you need all the original paperwork and the box. Who keeps that? That’s one of the first things that goes in the bin right after that box it was shipped in. Hopefully I’m able to return them although it’s been 5 days since I requested a return so it’s doubtful they will respond at this point.
Straight away. Great noise reduction. Very comfortable. I use these for work. Mostly because all of the ear plugs my company carries gives me a headache. Really great to be able to hear people talking to me in a noisy environment. However they sometimes lack in connectivity. Typically when I turn my head either direction with my phone in my back pocket. The sound just cuts out from both buds. Not necessarily at the same time either or it doesn’t cut out all the way just really squelchy. Also randomly the voice from the buds will say “disconnected”for no reason at all. In my opinion. I think the price is ok for all u get. Would love to see a next generation version tho. I think Elgin is capable of great things. I’ll be a customer as long as innovation continues.
Elgin rebel is the first product I’ve ever purchased from this company and it’s been mixed feelings mostly positive tho. I had to make warranty claims on a few occasions. The first set had a earbud go dead and never work again then a warranty set came before they made replacement earbuds and only a few months later another dead earbud. This past month I purchased a replacement bud only for them to not connect but I was sent a full replacement. Customer service is excellent and I think a few generations have passed with improvements I don’t regret having these at all! Still a great product!
Great
