Fury Dual-Defense

Been through dozens of ear muffs over the years for industrial jobs and apartment living. Most of them crumbled when rolling on my side while sleeping. I use these mainly for at home apartment living and it's a dream. No more cords and I can switch easily from smartphone to laptop to television with no hassles. Going on four days on the first charge.

My wife and I run a lawns and gardens business and wanted protection that can be used over the ear and especially with sunglasses or safety glasses. We tried the Axil MXII but the sound quality was low and the noise leakage when wearing glasses was bad while operating our ZT mowers.

Needless to say when we saw these Fury had come out and saw it was getting good reviews we decided to take the plunge.

I personally use the Elgin Discord and love the fusion foam ear tips so when I noticed the Fury also uses them I knew the sound isolation would be top notch.

Now I feel at ease knowing my wife’s hearing will be protected while running our mowers. Sound quality is good using Apple Music and is clear and crisp. She also likes the “military design”.

Thanks for coming up with a product that works well with glasses/safety googles. Just make the cords slightly longer so people can use the buds while keeping the headphones around the knack if possible.

Honestly, I'm happy with the headphones. They seem rugged and built to last. That being said they aren't the most comfortable. My hope was that I could wear the headphones while cutting and grinding metal, and only use the ear buds under my welding hood with the head phones around my neck. Unfortunately, the ear bud cord is just barely too short. Overall they serve their purpose, the long battery life is a plus, and the noise deadening is superb. When ordering watch out for the promotions, the 'add to order' button is large and the 'continue to checkout' is small so I accidentally added another pair of headphones and ear buds and had already purchased them all before I realized what had happened. I sent the extra stuff back to get a refund, and the return process was pretty easy.

These turned out to be pretty great earmuffs. Just recently used the ear plug option for the first time while cutting concrete and I gotta say they exceeded my expectations. While the light feature is nice it does drain the battery significantly faster than just Bluetooth. I usually get better than a weeks worth out of a single charge just listening to music while I work as opposed to about 3 days if I run the light for a couple hours. I'm a handyman, and regularly work alone so I can listen to music all day, which means im seeing 40+ hours of Bluetooth per charge. My only real complaint is the volume of the battery level notification alert. Is always much louder than I have my volume set and can be rather startling. All the same I highly recommend them.
