I have loved Elgin's products. I still have my first pair of wired earplug headphones from them. They are STILL working 10 years later with only a little sound reduction in one ear. I used these in lawn care and they took a beating. Getting pulled out of my ears, wet, greasy etc. With the rampage having the wires inside, I am sure that they will last a good while for me too. They also threw in the Thumper with the purchase. I have been using it everyday at work and am loving it. It is awesome for jobs that won't let you have "ear protection music players" in your ears for safety reasons. But with the thumper I can put on my ear protection when I need it, then take it off and turn on my music. I keep it clipped to my shirt right below my neck. I don't have to turn the volume up much because the speaker is designed to point up at you. The magnets make it great for setting on the side of a tool box, or on a vehicle (don't forget it though). The sound quality is amazing clear sound nice bass and loud i can't hear nothing with these on and great noise canceling the battery life is i can go a whole week without charging them
