I’ve used Elgin headphones for years I started with Ruckus which honestly for the price point aren’t bad at all. Biggest downfall is the non replaceable tips. I’m really hard on stuff and the tips eventually tear. I started using the Rumbles which are superior in every way. Broke my last set (again I’m hard on stuff) and when I went to order some they were sold out so I tried these Discords. They fall right in the middle. Which makes sense as the price point does as well. Battery life is a little less and I prefer the over ear style but I knew I was losing both those things before I ordered. My biggest complaints are that the buttons are extremely loud. I often listen in bed and adjusting the volume is a loud enough click as to annoy my wife. The other thing is they are extremely magnetic. This one surprised me, neither the Ruckus or Rumble have this quality. If I’m not doing something loud I often use them just as headphones and often only wear one and let the other one hang on my chest. Several times it’s magnet stuck to a car or tractor or something I'm leaning over and working on and then I need to unstick it with greasy hands. It’s not a huge deal but it’s happened enough times to be annoying and I’ve only had them for short time. All in all they are fine they are a step up from the Ruckus and a step down from the Rumbles. I won’t buy them again, when I wear them out I’ll switch back to a set of Rumbles they are worth the money. By the way customer service is superb by Elgin they have warrantied several sets for me over the years

Used the day after getting them. Awesome sound lasted entire 10 hour shift. It also blocked out sound from the auto drills and other machines in the building. 10/10

These are awesome im a field mechanic and these are great to wear at customer sites that require ear plugs or when im running my compressor/air tools. Music sounds pretty good bass is a bit lacking but for the money and utility these are phenomenal. I did notice the foam plugs make music and calls sound better than with the rubber ones which are what i generally prefer. And the magnetic part on the ear plugs is super nice as they stick together and dont bounce around when im working with them out. The magnets will likely collect metal dust but so do my airpods so im not complaining. I would like some color options though mainly hi vis yellow or the blaze orange they sell but without the restrictions.
